This is a story that almost every hockey player has gone through… 
Meet Magdalena Aicega, one of the most historical defenders of the Argentine team. Back in 1992 she was cut off from the team that was schedule to play the Junior Pan Am Games. The coach said that it was because she did not know how to flick the ball.

However, she didn’t give up…
She continued training and overcoming the odds. For the next international tournament she was finally called for the team. The coach said that perhaps, back then he made a mistake, but for sure she did not make the mistake of giving up and she earn her spot in the team…
