The votes are in: meet the new FIH President, Dr. Narinder Batra

Big part of the current growth of India Hockey has been thanks to him, not only in popularity and competitions but also in budget: India has seen a budgetary growth from $500,000 to $14,100,000 USD over a six-year period.

Prior to the election, said: “It is an extremely complex environment that requires management of many stakeholders. In my role as Secretary General and President of Hockey India, I have had to provide strong leadership to ensure the growth of the sport.”

So, Leandro Negre’s presidency comes to and end. He will be remembered as one of the best FIH Presidents in history!
