Using the reverse shot for a perfect diagonal pass

It was another fantastic goal scorer by Kampong SV during the final of the EHL. Kellerman is able to send a pass by using the reverse shot, through a diagonal space between the opponents defensive lines. This is an action that it is practiced during training sessions, and if you see the player sending the ball  looks for the movement of the attacker before sending the past.

This is not a random action and it is a pass that is sent by using the reverse because the pressure was coming from the centre of the field. Do you remember how back in the day we used to talk how about strong side and weak side in hockey? That concept clearly doesn’t apply to modern hockey anymore.
