The forehand sweep fakes: Stephanie de Groof and her perfect passing technique

Take a look at this interesting video featuring Belgian international, Stephanie de Groof. She shows how to perform the right technique of the fake sweep pass by changing the angle of the stick and the moment of contact with the ball. Basically:

1. If you want to fake a straight pass and send the ball to your right, make sure that your wrists are in front of the line of the ball at the very last moment.

2. If you want to fake a straight pass and send the ball to your left, make sure that your wrists are left behind the ball and you transfer the bodyweight to the right position and that the ball is in front of you.
