“This article has a very personal value to me.  Not everybody can say that they have a father who not only is an FIH Master Coach, Olympic Coach, U21 World Cup Champion, FIH Hockey World Cup finalist and also, a former player who had the chance to play for Argentina in the 1971 World Cup in the Real Polo Club de Barcelona, Spain. The famous Indian player Ashok Kumar, the son of Dhyan Chand, whose Spanish nickname was given by Carlos Kenny and Rodolfo Mendoza. They called him the nickname “Piolin” (String) because it seemed that the ball was attached to his stick by a string.
