How to use the reverse self-pass around an opponent?

This skill is useful if the intention of the attacker is to quickly break the line of defence while receiving a pass to the space. In this clip we can see that the attacker is able to read that behind the defender, there is space available where the ball can be released. By being able to read this space, the attacker decides to receive and to release the ball to that space while he continues with the run. This play looks simple and easy but it is important to push the ball forward with the correct strength and to the right place.
