Ellen Hoog retired from international field hockey, and additionally to being one of the most influencing players in the world, she has done some freelance modelling in Holland.
Her debut in the international hockey scene happened in 2004. Through her remarkable international career, she wore the orange shirt in more than 200 occasions scoring more than 50 goals. Her club team is called Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club (AH&BC).
She is a well-rounded player, but if we could define her for two of her best skills, we could mention her speedy Indian driblling and her deadly tomahawk hit (reverse shot).
Her skillset made her win two Olympic gold medals (2008 and 2012), and two World Cups: 2006 in Madrid and 2014 in The Hague.
