Ankle twist pain: an injury under an unpredictable situation…
Sometimes when something happens is because it was meant to happen and there further explanations cannot be found. This was what it happened to this South African player during a pool game against the United States for the 2014 World Cup. After running out on the penalty corner, the first runner turned around to see where the ball was without realising that her right foot was stepping onto the American player’s foot making her twist her ankle in a painful way.
