4. Lead by the example
“You want your players to arrive on time, and you are the last one to walk in the room” then you are not setting an example. Another situation, “you want your players to listen to you and pay you attention but when they want to say something, you interrupt them or seem distracted”. There are so many examples where coaches demand, demand and command, but they don’t offer anything in advanced or in return. You, as a coach, need to always lead with the example.
